The SMART EXTENDER is designed to strengthen the Bluetooth connection between the SMART HUB-150 and the in-lite app (connected via mobile devices/tablets) indoors. Simply plug the SMART EXTENDER into an outlet in your home, in the kitchen or living room for example, and easily connect/install it via the in-lite app. In some modern homes, external factors like thick, insulated walls and steel constructions can reduce Bluetooth signal strength and quality. Bluetooth connectivity in some smartphones can occasionally be less than optimal as well. In these cases, the SMART EXTENDER strengthens the Bluetooth connection to the SMART HUB-150 and the in-lite app. *Do not plug the SMART EXTENDER into an outlet next to a Wifi Router or in a meter box
